Impala -  Rock Creek Skinner Knife with Trailing Point Style Blade - Leather Handle
 
Our top-quality full-tang knives feature forged blades in HWS-1K with full taper tangs. Edge hardness is 58-60HRc.
 
The blade is flat ground.  An aggressive thumb grip is provided on the back of the blade and a finger groove is provided at the choil for blade control.
 
The tangs are very substantial, terminating in a short thread at the pommel. The guard and pommel are investment cast in stainless steel. 
 
The stacked-leather handle employs bark-tanned leather and is secured by a sleeve nut at the pommel. 
 
Sheath construction is bark-tanned leather with stainless steel reinforcing at the wear points and has a strap-and-snap retainer.
